In February 2024, this year's Deutschlandstipendien were awarded by the University of Hamburg and the Jung Foundation is participating for the seventh time. With the scholarships, the foundation supports three students from the field of human medicine with a monthly financial grant.
In addition to the Jung Career Advancement Award and the annual Jung Fellowships, supporting students is another way for the Jung Foundation to promote young medical talent and make Germany attractive as a centre of science for young researchers.
This year, Julia Maria Fuchs and Alex Waterhölter can look forward to a continuation of last year's fellowship. Konstantin Matsui is a new addition to the Jung family. Following the award ceremony at the university, the foundation and the scholarship holders got to know each other and were able to make initial contact.
