The Jung Foundation for Science and Research awards the Tübingen based young physician Dr. Dr. med. Randolph Helfrich, who completed two doctorates, the Ernst Jung Career Advancement Award for Medical Research 2021. He receives the endowment for his studies on brain activity during sleep. With a total price of 210,000 euros, the foundation is supporting Helfrichs project over a period of three years; he wants to establish methods that can potentially be used for the diagnosis of neurological diseases.
