JUNG FELLOWSHIP FOR MEDICAL HISTORY
Aware of its own history, the Jung Foundation will additionally fund doctoral studies on medicine under National Socialism from 2024. For this funding line, the foundation has expanded the Jung Fellowship Program, which is aimed at young scientific and medical talents. The program, which is initially limited to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, is intended to support selected doctoral students in medicine to conduct full-time research for one year. The scholarship of 15,000 euros is paid out in monthly installments of 1,250 euros over the course of a year. The money is not earmarked for a specific purpose.
