FELOWSHIPS AND STIPENDS
The Jung Foundation for Science and Research supports cutting-edge human medical research with prizes currently totaling up tp 540,000 euros per year. They rank among the highest awards of their category in Europe. In addition, the Jung Foundation annually awards five fellowships in the field of human medicine and one fellowship in the field of medical history at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Within the framework of the Jung Medal for Medicine in Gold, the laureates also award a young researcher of their choice with a scholarship currently worth 30,000 euros in the name of the Jung Foundation. Furthermore, the foundation annually supports three students of human medicine at the University of Hamburg by participating in the Deutschlandstipendien. In total, the foundation thus awards up to 650,000 euros worth of funding.
